For those who aren't into baking but still want mouth watering treats...

We have great news, because these Pecan Peanut Butter Bars are easy to make and you don't need an oven to bake them!

 

Here's what you'll need:

  • 2 scoops Veg-Pro Butter-Pecan protein
  • ¾ cup natural creamy peanut butter
  • ¼ cup agave or maple syrup
  • 1 tbsp melted coconut oil
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/3 cup ground flaxseeds
  • 1/4 cup crushed pecans
  • 1 100% pure cacao chocolate bar
  • Sea salt + crushed pecans for sprinkling on top

 

Here's what to do:

Step 1: In a bowl mix together peanut butter, agave/maple syrup, coconut oil, vanilla until smooth.

Step 2: Add in ground flaxseeds and Veg-Pro Butter-Pecan protein powder, and crushed pecans. Mix with a spoon then use yours hands to complete. The batter should be like cookie dough.

Step 3: Press into a square pan lined with parchment paper.

Step 4: Melt the dark chocolate and pour over the peanut butter layer. Spread out using a spoon.

Step 5: Place in the freezer for about an 1 hour before slicing into bars.

Step 6: Store in the fridge or freezer until ready to eat. Lasts for about 2 weeks.

The hour you have to wait for them to cool off is torture!
