If you have a doughnut craving that hits you every morning then this recipe is going to help curb that craving in the most delicious way possible!

Here's what you'll need:

  • 3 scoops Veg-Pro Snickerdoodle protein

  • 1 cup coconut flour

  • 5 tbsp potato starch

  • 2 tsp baking powder

  • 1-2 tsp ground cinnamon

  • Pinch salt

  • 1/2 cup maple syrup

  • 1/2 cup canned coconut milk

SUGAR GLAZE (OPTIONAL BUT HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!)

  • 2 tbsp canned coconut milk
  • 1 cup powdered sugar

Here's what to do:

Step 1: Preheat the oven to 350°F and spray a donut pan with nonstick spray.

Step 2: In a large bowl, add the flour, Veg-Pro Snickerdoodle protein, potato starch, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt and whisk very well. Pour the syrup and milk over the dry ingredients and whisk until completely smooth.

Step 3: Divide the batter evenly into the donut pans. Leave about a 1/4 of each empty.

Step 4: Bake 12-15 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean. Do not over-bake.

Step 5: Leave to cool in the pan for 5 minutes, then gently remove them from the forms.

Step 6: For the glaze, combine sugar and milk and whisk until completely smooth. Place the donut flat into the glaze and rotate it to coat it. Place on a wire rack to let the glaze set. Put in the fridge for 10-15 minutes to set.

Step 7: Enjoy!

This recipe takes the unhealthy doughnut and flips it upside down. Take advantage of the deliciousness and make these bad boys ASAP!
