If running one of the largest delivery services in the US wasn’t enough to keep him busy, Jeff Bezos, the Executive Chairman and founder of Amazon, has dedicated part of his life to a consistent workout routine and healthy diet.

It’s evident from his wildly successful career that Jeff Bezos is no stranger to hard work, and achieving a bodybuilder’s physique at almost 60 years old takes a lot of it. As one of the richest men in the world with a net worth of over $130 billion, Bezos works with a celebrity personal trainer and actually uses them consistently, unlike his fellow billionaire, Elon Musk, who’s admitted to barely working with his personal trainer.

You may not have access to a celebrity trainer, but you do have the ability to practice Jeff Bezos’ workout routine, diet, and good habits to maintain a healthy mind and body.

Jeff Bezos’ Daily Routine

As one of the most successful people on this planet, Jeff Bezos follows a daily routine that involves working, resting, and more.

You may have heard before that your day starts after a good night's sleep. With demanding work schedules, maintaining social lives, and stress keeping us up, it can be hard to get those eight hours.

According to Jeff Bezos in a 2018 discussion at the Economic Club of Washington, he believes that getting eight hours of sleep is the key to boosting productivity and making high-quality decisions.

It’s recommended that adults get seven hours or more of sleep per night consistently in order to help maintain optimal health. If you have a hard time getting high-quality sleep, try  Rested-AF for a deeper, more restful sleep.

Bezos likes to get up early and starts his day at around 6:30am.

He likes to have his morning coffee and breakfast with his family, so he makes sure not to schedule meetings before 10am to have plenty of time to enjoy his children’s company before school.

When he heads to work, he spends most of the afternoon in meetings, and any work that doesn’t get finished before the end of the day, he saves for tomorrow.

Puttering time is important to Bezos because it helps give him a healthy balance between work and rest. Too often, we are overworked, and that can affect our home life and mental health.

In an interview with Thrive Global, Bezos says, “I think work-life harmony is a good framework. I prefer the word “harmony” to the word “balance” because balance tends to imply a strict tradeoff. In fact, if I’m happy at work, I’m better at home — a better husband and better father. And if I’m happy at home, I come into work more energized — a better employee and a better colleague.”

Jeff Bezos’ Diet Plan

Building muscle and losing fat takes time and dedication not just in the gym but in your lifestyle outside of lifting weights. A healthy diet is a large contributor to getting in shape, but it can also improve your overall health. Your risks of cardiovascular disease, obesity, and all-cause mortality can be reduced by integrating a proper amount of vegetables, whole grains, lean meats, and other foods full of nutrients into your diet plan.

Jeff Bezos understands the importance of a healthy, balanced plate, and that’s why he aims to remove processed foods and cheat meals from his diet.

But Bezos wasn’t always so conscious about his eating. He even admitted at Summit 2017 that he would eat an entire can of Pillsbury biscuits for breakfast.

It wasn’t until a trending picture was released of a shirtless Bezos in St. Barts with his girlfriend, Lauren Sanchez, that the world knew about his lifestyle change.

Bezos prefers to eat healthy, whole foods, but he also opts to try new and eccentric foods.

Once in a meeting, Bezos was said to have ordered Mediterranean octopus with potatoes, bacon, green garlic yogurt and a poached egg.

Looking at his new and improved beach bod, it’s no surprise that the owner of Blue Origin and former CEO of Amazon is careful of the foods he puts into his body. He makes sure to eat enough protein to maintain his muscles.

Protein powder like Whey-PRO, which contains 20g of whey isolate protein per scoop, can be a great supplementation into your diet to help promote muscle growth like Bezos’.

A lot of his transformation can be credited to better eating choices, but Bezos definitely makes time for weight training and exercise.

Jeff Bezos’ Workout Routine

Although it was ultimately Bezos’ decision to change his lifestyle, he works with a personal trainer to help stay on track. Celebrity trainer, Wesley Okerson, who has worked with other celebrities like Tom Cruise, has helped his billionaire client pack on the muscle.

Okerson has worked with plenty of celebrities and actors to know that sometimes there is a deadline for their new body, such as when Cruise filmed “Valkyrie”. Even if Bezos wasn’t getting ready for a movie, that’s probably why it seemed like he got jacked overnight.

His personal trainer’s approach for his clients is low-impact and high-resistance. This can involve resistance bands, weight training, cardio, and rowing machines.

Low-impact exercises can be considered ones that are easier on the joints and don’t involve jumping. Functional exercises like squats, push-ups, and pull-ups can be low-impact if done properly and safely.

He works out often and consistently throughout the week and makes sure to make it a priority. No matter how busy the life of Jeff Bezos is, he has dedicated a part of his life to becoming a healthier, buffer version of himself.

Get Biceps Like Bezos

One thing that’s evident from his new biceps is Jeff Bezos workouts are consistent. Having a personal trainer definitely helps with planning and consistency, but it’s not a necessity. To get a body like Bezos, you don’t need a fancy trainer or personal chef. You just need a plan, the proper knowledge, and the motivation.

Some other billionaires like Elon Musk and Warren Buffett eat what they want and don’t save too much time for exercise, but Jeff Bezos proved that it’s never too late to get the healthy body you want.

Eliminating processed foods and making exercise and sleep a priority can help you achieve a more sculpted physique and energetic lifestyle.
